Institutional integrity
Institutional integrity is the cornerstone for effective learning, skills enhancement, and moral development. HEIs must actively assist pupils in achieving their academic goals and objectives while also instilling key doctrines of life. In this sense, 97% of American parents agree that moral qualities such as honesty and integrity should be an integral part of academic curriculum (Pavela, 1993; Kumar Shrivastava, 2017). In other words, HEIs should endeavour to ensure excellence in teaching standards and promote academic integrity (AI) amongst the student community.
